The one with the Merry Christmas

Well, it’s official. Christmas 2012 was the best yet—mostly because its the one that I can remember the most.

On Christmas Eve night, Danny and I gathered around our little tree and opened our brown paper packages tied up in string.

Then, Christmas day, it all started with a trek to see this little face.

Don’t worry, those arms that are around Sookie aren’t hers. They’re my dad’s.

Ok, just kidding—they’re my mom’s.

We opened presents, and sometimes, Danny looked like this.

We had a great time as a family. We were just relaxed and laughing (I kept making jokes, calling everything well. Trust me, that killed with my teacher family.)

After presents, we went my my grandma’s house and saw more relatives and laughed some more. I got Pushing Daisies dvd’s, so you know I was a happy girl.

When we got home, we took our annual Christmas family picture.

And, then, the boys took a beard picture.

And Danny and I took our annual Sears picture. Did anyone else take family pictures at Sears when they were little?

We look fetching.

But, in all seriousness, I was so excited on Christmas day, and I was so thankful for my wonderful family. They are the best, most supportive family one could have. And, they think I am a hoot, so that’s a bonus.

I hope everyone else had a Merry Christmas as well!
